Welcome to All Saints Junior School

 

 

We are delighted that you are considering All Saints CE VA Junior, for the next part of your child’s journey. 

All Saints is a special place to grow, with the widest opportunities on offer for every child. 

It is a happy place to learn – based in one building - with a strong family feel.  

We are delighted that so many families are choosing All Saints.

If you have a Year 2 pupil or have friends who do, we are about to host our Open Mornings at All Saints for our next Year 3:

** ADDITIONAL DATE ** THURSDAY 21ST NOVEMBER - 10.45am - 11.45am

Tuesday 8th October - 10.45am - 11.45am

Wednesday 9th October - 10.45am - 11.45am

Tuesday 12th November - 10.45am - 11.45am

Thursday 14th November - 10.45am - 11.45am

Events will include an introduction from the team & a tour of the school. This event is aimed primarily at parents/carers/family members rather than children, however if you feel your child would benefit from coming with you, then please do bring them (inform your infant school they are visiting). There is no need to book and you can come more than once if you would like.

All Saints takes the majority of the pupils from out-of-catchment (numbers in catchment are very small), so please do encourage friends to come and have a look. This year we welcomed children from 16 schools from across Hart, Rushmoor & Surrey.

I do hope you come to visit us on one of our Open evenings/mornings – we’d love to tell you all about why we love All Saints.

In May 2019 we were given the top grading – Excellent for our most recent Section 48 inspection.

    Curriculum

    At All Saints, we use the practice of project based learning.  Each of our projects, best known as our ‘leaning adventures’ is underpinned by a driving question and include memorable experiences as well as statutory skills and content. 

    Our learning adventures are launched through an exciting hook event and culminate in a celebration of learning – often involving a community audience. Central to our end outcomes is a focus on beautiful learning, high quality, rich outcomes and community involvement.

  • Do you use a reading shceme?

    We assess reading at the start of the Autumn term and give them appropriate levels of books to choose. This may be part of a reading scheme or from a wider selection of books from the school library.

  • Is there a Year 3 reading list?

    Yes, our English page under the Curriculum tab has lots of information about reading. Click here to go there.

  • Will Year 3 be able to have music lessons?

    Yes - spaces are allocated for Year 3. If no spaces are available, your child will be added to the waiting list.
